We depart from your hotel to Doi Suthep - Pui National Park which takes about 30 minutes drive. First, we visit Hmong Hill tribe Village and learn more about their culture and shop for handmade souvenirs at their outdoor market. Then, continue to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep or Doi Suthep Temple, one of northern Thailand’s most important and beautiful temples, located near the top of Doi Suthep (Mount Suthep). It is a place of worship, dates back to the year 1373 when the first Chedi was built. It is an important pilgrimage spot for the devout and is sacred site to many Thai people. Visitors can take the 306 steps staircase or ride on a cable car to reach the pagoda. Enjoy the magnificence of the temple with its Golden Chedi glowing and spectacular views of Chiang Mai City and its surroundings. A must visit!
Lunch will be provide in this tour and we will stop to have local lunch.
After lunch will continue the tour to Mae Sa Elephant Camp, the biggest and the most popular camp in Chiang Mai. Enjoy a variety of fabulous shows of Elephants who love to show off their skills, abilities and intelligence. Don't miss a chance to observe the Elephants bathing in a stream before moving the performance site. During the beginning of the show, about 20 Elephants will parade to welcome you to their performance; the demonstration of how these majestic and powerful creatures work in Logging Industry, Football Matches consisting of many talented Elephant players, Playing Games and Painting of beautiful abstract and realistic.
After spending time to enjoy with Elephants, visit an Orchid Nursery Farm filled with more than 50 different varieties of gorgeous orchid blooms in a dazzling array of colors. There is a superb collection of exotic butterflies to dazzle and bewitch you. Return back to the hotel after the tour.
